Getting There By Air

Nestled in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, Fiji may seem far away, but getting here is easy. Fiji Airways, Fiji’s national carrier, has regular flights from many international destinations (New Zealand: Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington; Australia: Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney; North America: Honolulu, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver; Asia: Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong). JetstarAir New Zealand, Virgin Australia, Air Niugini, and Air Vanuatu, also fly regularly to Fiji.

Nadi International Airport is the main gateway to the country for most travellers, and there are several domestic airports scattered throughout the islands.

A 4 month visa is granted automatically on arrival to visitors from most countries, you can check the list here. You needn’t do anything other than have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond your stay. Others not on this list will have to apply for one through their nearest Fiji High Commission.
