Reminiscent of the old plantation homestead with its imposing entrance and wide open verandahs, the colonial inspired Restaurant Complex is set back from the beach, amongst tropical forest and gardens and overlooks the Resort’s two swimming pools.
The Terrace Restaurant is our main restaurant open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner with seating for 100 people. Using only the finest and freshest produce the islands have to offer, our chefs prepare and offer a mixture of Pacific Rim A la Carte and buffet dining experiences.
Our daily breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of a hot and cold dishes with cereals, fresh tropical fruits and juices, freshly baked breads and pastries and of course a chef to cook eggs-to-order. Full Buffet Breakfast is F$40pp and Continental Breakfast is F$29pp. Children 3-12yrs are half price.
Light A la Carte menus are available daily for lunch as well as a unique “Select Your Own Sandwich and Salad” Menu. Dinners alternate between A la Carte and buffet theme nights as well as Chef Specials in the Terrace Restaurant.
On Monday nights we offer a “Taste of Asia”. Wind your way through the Far East from the wide selection of delicious dishes from China, Thailand and India, to name a few. Try the Live Cooking Station where our chefs will cook culinary delights to order.
Wednesday nights we present an Island BBQ Buffet with prime cuts of meat, chicken and fish barbecued Fijian style, along with a smorgasbord of salads, baked potatoes and tropical fruit salads and desserts.
Saturday night is when it all comes together – a celebration of our vibrant Fijian culture beginning with a cocktail hour where guests get to meet each other and the management of the Resort. A short Meke (traditional Fijian Dance) is performed by the local Island Dance Troupe, followed by a sumptuous, traditional Fijian feast. During the day the staff have been busy preparing the famous Fijian Lovo where succulent local meats and seafood are wrapped in banana leaves and slow roasted in an earth oven under hot rocks for several hours, producing a unique smokey taste sensation. To complement this feast is an extensive cold buffet influenced by local markets and traditional Fijian delicacies from Kokoda to Vudivakalolo and Chili Mud Crab followed by fresh fruits and other tempting tropical desserts.
