Leilani’s Spa
Leilani means ‘heavenly flower’ and the Spa is set amidst a tranquil rainforest setting and lush tropical gardens. In tune with this theme, the spa treatments have been carefully designed to embrace the therapeutic benefits of the locally-made Pure Fiji spa products’ natural ingredients. The aim is to provide resort guests with a truly heavenly experience.
Guests arrive to the stunning reception lounge. Here they will choose their favourite Pure Fiji aromatic oil for their treatment – from scents such as: Lime Blossom, Milk & Honey, Passion Flower or the ubiquitous Coconut, just to name a few. After which, they will be escorted to one of three, fully air-conditioned treatment rooms – which can be set for singles or couples, and all with floor-to-ceiling views out to the picturesque rainforest. Each room has its own private bathroom where guests change into a robe and then proceed to their secluded verandah for a relaxing foot massage. Each verandah also has a deep-set stone “jungle” bath for a soothing after-treatment soak.
The Spa’s Pure Fiji products utilise many of Fiji’s ancient, indigenous healing plants and seeds that have been used by generations of Fijians for hundreds of years – some of which can be found on Malolo Island. Seeds like Dilo (also a Hydrsol), is a natural anti-inflammatory, regenerates skin cells and is commonly used on burns; or Moringa – which is nutrient-dense, nourishing and an anti -pollutant. Coconut – the most common of all the seeds, has multiple healing properties for the body – both internally and externally, and moisturises, nourishes and protects the skin. Local Botanicals are also prevalent in the spa products like Papaya Extract, which is used to gently exfoliate and removie dead skin cells and impurities, brighten skin tone and increases skin radiance.
Leilani’s Spa offers everything from traditional Fijian massage, to the latest in stone therapies which originate from the Fijian island of Beqa. Hands and feet are not forgotten with a range of facials and restorative foot massages and scrubs. Couples can choose from four decadent treatments for that special romantic indulgence, or the list of “Ultimate Pamper” treatments will leave guests in a blissful state of relaxation and rejuvenation.
